We are now looking for a talented and highly organised Health & Safety Business Partner to join and play a vital role in supporting our business.

This is a regional role and will involve regional travel across schools in the South East (Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex, London) and on occasion national travel, supporting our sites across England. You will be joining a brilliant team that is making a real impact on the success of Impact Food Group.
Role Responsibilities:
- Providing assistance to the Safety Director in the management of all matters relating to food safety, health and safety, and food allergen safety across the company.
- Actively working to create and improve a positive safety culture within the specific area of responsibility.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that we can provide the safest workplaces and compliant working environments.
- Creating, promoting, and motivating excellent food safety, health and safety, and allergen management through various initiatives across the company.
- Acting as a trusted advisor on all food safety, allergen management, and health & safety matters.
- Demonstrating a broad understanding of safety standards, requirements, and issues allowing for mutually agreeable and fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Ensuring that Impact Food Group complies with its legal obligations and achieves its strategic aims to minimise the risks to our employees and organisation.
- Providing guidance and assurance that safe systems of work are in place.
- Being responsible for completion of audits, inspections, investigations, and risk assessments.
- Alongside the Safety Director, playing an active role in leading the continual improvement in H&S performance through monthly reporting, management meetings, delivering training, and communicating information in user-friendly language that is engaging.
- Bringing new ideas and innovative ways of working safely and supporting peopleβs wellbeing.
Skills & Experience:
- It is essential that you have at least NVQ L4 in Food Hygiene and NVQ L5 Health and Safety.
- 2 years' experience working within a Food Safety/Health and Safety position.
- A background in a Food Safety environment as a manager covering multiple sites would be advantageous.
- Desirable qualifications include a BSc/MSc in Environmental Health.
- An understanding and experience in working within a contract catering or retail catering environment is desirable.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Excellent organisation skills.
