About the role

Job Title: Catering Assistant

School Location: Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe, HP13 6QT

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 8:30am-3pm (30 hours per week)

Working Weeks: 38 weeks per year

Pay Details: £16,014.60 per Annum

What you'll Be Doing:

As a Catering Assistant, you'll support our high-standard catering teams, helping deliver fresh, beautifully presented meals to students in ourindependentschools.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and serving meals and snacks to a high standard
  • Assisting with plating, presentation, and counter service
  • Supporting the kitchen team with food prep
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen and dining area
  • Providing friendly and professional service to all students and staff

What we're looking for:

  • Experience incatering or hospitality (School catering is prefereable but not essential)
  • A passion for food and high standards
  • Teamwork skills and reliability
  • Flexible approach to working hours to support school schedules
