About the role
- Location: Covering schools in the Cambridge area
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Shifts & Working hours: 10am-2pm (20 hours per week)
- Working Weeks: 38 weeks per year (term time plus inset days)
- Pay Details: £10,676.40 per annum (Mileage paid at £0.45 per mile). You will need access to your own transport.
What Will I Be Doing?
This is a Catering Assistant role working across a small portfolio of schools. You won’t be based at just one school—you’ll be supporting multiple sites. Travel between schools will be paid, and you’ll always be advised in advance which sites you’ll be covering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all students.
- Assist in the preparation of food and snacks.
- Deliver excellent counter service and operate the till.
- Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
