Responsibilities
- Day to day management and guidance of the chef managers running the sites, including supporting client relationships, recruitment and HR matters.
- Be comfortable conversing at all levels, from the kitchen to the board room.
- Produce spreadsheets and presentations to show performance and progress using Office applications.
- Manage, inspire, and engage our teams.
- Meet with clients to build strong, professional relationships with internal and external individuals, service providers, suppliers, and businesses.
- Demonstrate passion and knowledge of great contemporary fresh food and service.
Qualifications and Experience
- Background as an Area Manager/Operations Manager within an Independent Education contract catering is desirable; candidates from Education, Business & Industry, or retail catering with experience managing at least 8 sites will be considered.
- Experience in senior multi-site operations management within food catering services.
- Strong financial management skills, including commercial and fixed-price environments.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and work in a self-motivated, resilient, highly organized manner.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to create and present reports and dashboards.
