IMPACT EVOLVE are working with a fast-growing consumer brand to recruit a Website Manager. The website is at the heart of the customer journey, and the business is looking for someone who can transform it into a high-performing, intuitive and commercially powerful channel. This is a pivotal role where you’ll take ownership of the website roadmap, driving continuous improvements to UX, performance and content. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the site converts visitors into customers, while also being a strong partner to marketing and technology functions. If you’re detail-driven, commercially minded and passionate about delivering an exceptional online experience, this is the role for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Identify opportunities to improve the website experience and increase conversion rates through better UX and content.
- Scope and brief website improvements, managing requests with the web developer and ensuring priorities are delivered on time.
- Manage the web development roadmap, providing clarity on timelines and accountability for delivery.
- Conduct UAT testing on all web development tasks and sign off before deployment.
- Spot and troubleshoot bugs, working with the web developer to resolve issues quickly.
- Oversee website performance and security, ensuring fast load times, mobile responsiveness, SSL, firewalls, user permissions and compliance are in place.
- Manage all website content, including campaign banners and landing pages aligned with the marketing calendar.
- Use web analytics to report on key website KPIs, conducting deep-dive analysis to identify opportunities for optimisation.
What we’re looking for:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a website executive or manager role, ideally within retail or consumer brands.
- Strong understanding of UX and UI principles, with the ability to translate them into improved customer journeys.
- Ability to diagnose technical issues, with the foresight to spot potential problems before they escalate.
- Proficient with CMS platforms (ideally Shopify), including managing content, plugins and themes.
- High familiarity with GA4, as well as CRO and SEO tools.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering web development projects on time and within scope.
- Understanding of website hosting, domains, DNS and security protocols.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (ideally Klaviyo) for integrated campaigns is a bonus.
