About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Solar PV Installer / Electrician to join their growing renewable energy team.
Working across a range of residential, commercial and industrial projects, you will be responsible for installing, testing and commissioning Solar PV systems while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Install Solar PV systems on residential, commercial and industrial projects.
- Mount photovoltaic panels on roofs, ground-mounted systems and supporting structures.
- Install and connect inverters, cabling and associated electrical components.
- Carry out system testing, fault finding and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure all installations comply with electrical regulations, safety standards and project specifications.
- Assist with site preparation and mechanical installation works where required.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete installations.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment on-site.
Requirements
- Previous Solar PV installation experience.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. [JD - Solar... lectrician | Word]
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work at height and in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamworking abilities.
Desirable
- ECS Gold Card.
- Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical projects
