Job Title: Renewable Energy Consultant Location: Warwickshire (Hybrid Working – 2 days in the office) Emplyment Type: Permanent Role Summary: Our client is an established and growing energy consultancy; they are seeking an Energy Consultant to join its technical and compliance team. This position is suitable for either a graduate/trainee looking to build a career in the energy sector or an experienced consultant seeking to further develop their expertise in renewable energy, compliance, and sustainability projects. You will work on a diverse portfolio of projects across renewable technologies, energy compliance schemes, sustainability reporting, and energy efficiency initiatives, supporting a wide range of commercial and industrial clients. Key Responsibilities * Support the delivery of energy compliance and renewable energy consultancy projects. * Gather, analyse and interpret technical and operational data. * Prepare applications, submissions and reports for various energy and environmental schemes. * Assist clients with regulatory compliance requirements and audits. * Carry out site visits, assessments and technical reviews. * Produce high-quality reports and recommendations for clients. * Work closely with senior consultants and technical specialists on project delivery. * Build and maintain strong client relationships. * Support proposal preparation and identify opportunities for additional services. * Contribute to technical research, industry updates and marketing content. Areas of Work The successful candidate will gain exposure to a variety of areas, including: * Renewable energy incentive schemes * Sustainability and carbon reporting * Energy audits and efficiency assessments * CHP and industrial energy projects * Regulatory compliance programmes * Feasibility studies and technical assessments * Renewable technology projects including biomass, biogas and other low-carbon technologies Required Experience / Qualifications Essential * Degree in Energy, Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. * Good organisational and administrative skills. * Interest in renewable energy, sustainability and the UK energy sector. * Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings.
