As a Project Engineer you will play a key role in the design, build, and implementation of engineering solutions across a range of industries. You will work closely with customers, internal engineering teams, and external stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements, comply with industry standards, and achieve project objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring that all work completed is compliant with applicable laws, regulations, standards, specifications, and codes of practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce system schematics detailing proposed control and automation systems
- Design communications networks
- Design PLC and SCADA systems, including sensor specification and field device interfacing
- Define system architecture and control philosophies aligned with project scope
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working as a Project Engineer within control systems, automation, or electrical engineering
- Strong understanding of PLC and SCADA systems and industrial communications networks
- Ability to produce and interpret technical documentation and schematics
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required
