We are seeking a highly capable Permanent Project Manager to join our client's E, C & I company based in Derbyshire, East Midlands.

The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of M&E projects across commercial and industrial sectors, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.

Your primary responsibilities will include leading project teams, managing client relationships, planning project timelines, and overseeing risk and budget management.

You will need to communicate effectively with stakeholders, develop compelling proposals, and identify new business opportunities, contributing to the company's growth.

The role requires a proactive approach to quality assurance, health and safety compliance, and environmental standards, with expectations to manage project documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within M&E (Mechanical & Electrical), especially in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA or PLC systems is essential.
  • Experience in project planning, budget control, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Excellent team management, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships, with a focus on business development and client retention.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, health and safety protocols, and quality assurance processes.
  • Relevant qualifications in project management, M&E, or related fields are advantageous.
