This is a hybrid, site-based role, with time split between the Alness site and home working.

Role Overview

This role is responsible for preparing and managing project correspondence, liaising with client Streetworks departments, and ensuring all project requirements are delivered in line with agreed timescales. The position will focus on tracking all live Streetworks permits and notices, ensuring site teams remain compliant and free from penalties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of all Streetworks permits and asset records for both tender and live projects nationwide.
  • Manage and secure access to statutory undertakers’ portals as required.
  • Plan and track forecasts for all permits and notices across live projects, issuing weekly updates to project teams.
  • Prioritise project requirements and resolve conflicting demands to optimise delivery performance.
  • Promote and uphold performance management practices across project teams.
  • Maintain high standards of project programming and produce consistent weekly reports.
  • Proactively resolve project issues, providing guidance and support where required.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company SHE (Safety, Health & Environmental) policies and procedures.
  • Embed lessons learned and drive continuous improvement and innovation within the UI T&D business.
  • Support the preparation of bid “win plans” for strategic tenders.
  • Undertake additional duties as required to meet business needs and support project teams.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of Streetworks processes, permits, and statutory undertaker requirements.
  • Ability to proactively resolve Streetworks-related issues.
  • Knowledge of accessing and managing utility and asset records across multiple asset owners.
  • Commercial and contractual awareness.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and coordinate project team activities.
  • Understanding of SHE requirements across both office and site environments.
  • Willingness to travel to site locations as required.
