  • Source and engage candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and networking to build a specialist talent pool.
  • Conduct interviews, vetting, and compliance checks to ensure candidate suitability and readiness.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing through to placement and aftercare.
  • Achieve agreed activity targets including CV submissions, interviews arranged, and monthly placements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, employment legislation, GDPR, and safeguarding policies.
  • Monitor market trends, legislation, and workforce challenges in the UK and US energy sectors.
  • Drive business development by securing new clients, signing terms, and expanding recruitment opportunities.

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a 360-recruitment agency environment.
  • Specific industry experience within recruitment for the utilities or renewable energy market.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly working with Microsoft Office packages.
  • Proficient use of a Recruitment CRM system including advert management, searches, vacancy management and placement recording.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

What you’ll get in return

  • Salary of £38,000 to £42,000 per annum plus commission.
  • 25 days annual leave, plus your birthday off.
  • Life assurance cover (4x salary).
  • Pension scheme with 4% employer contribution.
