Your Role at impact.com:
As a HR Generalist at impact.com you will work as part of a small regional team to provide hands-on, pragmatic HR support across the employee lifecycle for teams based in the UK and wider EME region (incl. Germany, Italy, Norway, France, Israel). Acting as a trusted first point of contact, you will partner closely with the Senior HRBP, global Centres of Excellence (CoEs) & People Excellence team peers plus regional stakeholders to deliver a consistent, supportive and positive employee experience in a fast-changing, international environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Employee & Manager Support
- Act as a first point of contact for managers and employees across the region on day-to-day matters i.e. internal people policies, procedures, leave (personal, maternity, paternity, etc), employee benefits, and best practice.
- Coach and advise managers to build confidence and capability in handling people & performance matters independently.
- Support managers with first-line performance issues & general employee relations across the region, providing timely, clear, and pragmatic advice and support with developing cases.
- Support the Senior HRBP with more complex or escalated ER cases as required, including investigations, capability reviews and redundancies.
- Employee Lifecycle & Operations
- Partnering with managers to prepare & guide new employee onboarding to ensure a positive, engaging, and consistent experience.
- Manage and administer employee lifecycle activities including probation, role changes, and contract updates, partnering with the Employee Services CoE.
- Support the Senior HRBP with offboarding and exit processes, including exit interviews.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity using Workday, partnering with the Employee Services CoE to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records at all times.
- Provide support to managers and employees around annual processes, i.e. feedback, performance & compensation review cycles.
- Regional Support
- Manage third-party vendor and Employer of Record (EoR) relationships (e.g. Deel) to support international hiring and benefits administration.
- Assist with the localisation, interpretation, and consistent application of People policies across the EME region.
- Support day-to-day HR activity across multiple countries, remotely and working with local stakeholders, global peers and CoE colleagues as needed.
- Support People Development, Reward and Benefits CoEs on global initiatives requiring local implementation.
- Contribute to and support training initiatives in collaboration with the Senior HRBP and Talent Development CoE.
- Engage with regional and global People projects as needed (e.g. HRIS implementation).
- Work with the Senior HRBP to continually review employee Benefits across the region to ensure options are well tailored to each population’s needs.
- Employee Experience, Engagement & Culture
- Partner with the Office Manager and internal culture groups to support employee experience, engagement, and recognition initiatives across the region.
- Provide HR guidance and input on office-based social events and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company values and policies.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in an office-based HR Generalist or equivalent role (+3 years) supporting employee groups across multiple locations, in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Demonstrated experience of handling first-line employee relations matters, supporting managers with developing cases and escalating where necessary.
- Good working knowledge of modern People practices and employment law; appreciation for the nuances of applying these in different countries.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust through openness, transparency, and consistent follow-through.
- Comfortable managing change and ambiguity while maintaining attention to detail and operational excellence.
- Able to effectively build relationships with employees and managers, both in-person and remotely.
- Experience of working with multi-module HRIS, preferably Workday.
