Role Description: As a Lead Consultant in Implementations, you will be a crucial link between our software solutions and our customers, demonstrating confidence and proficiency in explaining and understanding the nuances of academy finances. Your role involves coordinating with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of our software. Key responsibilities: Knowledge of Multi Academy Trust Accounting: Demonstrate a deep understanding of basic academy accounting terms and funding streams. Confidently explain financial concepts to clients and internal teams. Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans using provided software, outlining timelines, resources, and milestones for software implementations. Lead the execution of implementation projects from initiation to completion. Review the treatments that have been used within each school and in conjunction with IMP’s methodology and the clients’ needs Define the best method to build the budget data and ensure the legacy data is migrated in a consistent way Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation phase. Ensure clear communication and understanding of client requirements, particularly in the context of academy finances. Skills, experience, and attributes : Previous experience within a schools finance setting e.g. School admin/school finance officer Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a focus on explaining financial concepts. Advanced Excel skills – there will be an excel test during the interview process. Proven problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to project challenges. Strong organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience working with financial systems would be desirable.
