As a member of the Finance System team, you will be working with customers to migrate, standardise and cleanse the data required from each of the separate systems into IMP Finance, primarily using Excel for the data manipulation. The maturity of the organisation and quality of previous systems will depict how standardised the incoming information is. In addition to technical tasks, you will provide comprehensive support to customers throughout the process, understanding their challenges and defining the best methods to solve this using the software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation phase
- Review the Chart of Accounts structure with customers to achieve their desired structure
- Review the required approval levels that have been used within each school and in conjunction with IMP’s methodology and the clients’ needs
- Define the best method to build the required workflows for purchasing approvals
- Support customers through the implementation process including user acceptance testing
Skills, experience, and attributes:
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams
- Prior experience of finance system administration/implementation or school finances is advantageous
- You are an enthusiastic individual with a logical approach to problem solving
- AAT qualification, QBE and Part-qual would be advantageous but not essential
