Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy & Tactical Execution: Lead the development and execution of the cluster marketing plan aligned to the European strategy. Adapt brand strategy to local market dynamics, ensuring relevance and competitive differentiation. Drive local marketing tactical plan development and execution across all customer-facing activities. Develop omnichannel content to drive brand and launch readiness goals, as well as congress-related initiatives.
  • Launch & Brand Ownership: Own the cluster launch readiness and execution for the melanoma indication, ensuring alignment with European plans.
  • Commercial Performance: Drive sales growth and market share within the specific cluster through targeted strategies and tactical initiatives. Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying risks and opportunities and adjusting plans accordingly.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales, and Regulatory teams at country and regional level. Ensure alignment of strategic priorities and coordinated execution across functions.
  • Customer & Market Insights: Generate deep customer insights through engagement with local teams, KOLs, HCPs, and other stakeholders. Translate insights into actionable strategies and tactics to enhance brand performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the key marketing partner for the specific cluster team and leadership. Contribute regional insights into European and global discussions.
  • Agency & Project Management: Manage agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality delivery aligned with brand objectives. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, aligned to brand goals.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all activities comply with EFPIA, ABPI (as relevant), and local cluster regulations.

Education, Experience and Knowledge

  • Essential: Proven experience in pharmaceutical marketing, ideally within oncology. Understanding of European healthcare systems and market access environment. Strong track record of delivering commercial results at country and/or regional level. Product launch experience required. Digital/omnichannel marketing experience. Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Experience engaging with KOLs and external stakeholders. Resourceful, decisive and proactive approach to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced work environment. Can-do attitude. Fluent in English. Ability to travel within Europe. Excellent collaboration abilities. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field, an advanced degree is preferred. Significant relevant experience (typically ~8-10 years) in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Desirable: Experience in melanoma and/or immuno-oncology. Experience working in DACH cluster. Fluent in German.

Education & Qualifications: Degree in life sciences, or related field. Advanced marketing or business qualification desirable.
