About Immunara
Immunara is an AI biology lab building biological superintelligence. We're developing biological foundation models that learn how human biology works, and AI agents that reason over biological data to accelerate scientific discovery.
Understanding disease means connecting what happens across molecules, cells, tissues, organs and patients. Today, much of that knowledge is fragmented and captured in forms that AI cannot readily interpret or reason over. We believe AI can bring these pieces together to reveal biology that existing approaches cannot.
Our Approach
We're building foundation models trained on large, proprietary, multimodal human datasets to model disease and predict how biological systems respond to interventions. Alongside this, we're developing AI agents trained through reinforcement learning to reason over data and models, generate hypotheses and design experiments.
Our ambition is to build AI systems that can understand and discover biology - radically improving how we develop new treatments.
We've raised a large funding round from leading Silicon Valley investors to achieve this goal.
About the role
We’re looking for a Founding Operator with a scientific background, commercial instincts and a strong bias to action. Someone who can wear many hats and make things happen.
You’ll work directly with the founders on whatever matters most to the business.
One week, you might map the global biobank landscape, find the right decision-makers and run outreach. The next, you might refine our GTM strategy, build a customer deck, represent Immunara at an industry event, help close a candidate or fix an operational process that's slowing the team down.
You'll move between strategy and execution constantly.
What you'll do
-
Build partnerships - Source biobanks, hospitals and research institutions. Find the right people, execute on outreach and drive opportunities forward with the founders and scientific team.
-
GTM - Map markets, identify customers, test commercial hypotheses and turn research into a focused GTM strategy. Get into the details of who buys, what they need and how we reach them.
-
Create materials that win business - Build sharp customer decks, partnership proposals, briefs and follow-up materials. Translate complex science and technology into a clear reason to work with us.
-
Represent the company - Attend relevant conferences and industry events, build relationships and turn conversations into concrete next steps.
-
Help build the team - Help source exceptional people, support outreach and interviews, and keep hiring processes moving.
-
Make the company run better - Take charge of operational processes across the business. Remove bottlenecks and build systems that work as we grow.
What we're looking for
-
You understand the science. You have a background in biology, medicine, bioengineering or a related field. You can engage with scientific ideas and communicate credibly with technical people.
-
You've operated in a fast-paced environment. You have experience at MBB, in investment banking or at a high-growth startup.
-
You default to action. You can turn an incomplete brief into a sensible first move, you have high agency and are comfortable with ambiguity.
-
You have high standards and low ego. You care about the quality of the work. No task is beneath you if it moves the company forward.
-
You want responsibility. You’re looking for a steep learning curve, proximity to consequential decisions and the chance to build something substantial.
What’s in it for you
We want Immunara to the best place in the world to do ambitious AI biology work. Early hires will receive exceptional support and significant ownership.
Benefits include:
-
Competitive, top-of-market compensation.
-
Significant equity package to share in the upside of building a category-defining company.
-
Comprehensive private medical & dental coverage.
-
A significant budget to purchase best-in-class equipment, research tooling, software, and the infrastructure you need to do your best work.
-
Access to the compute and petabytes of proprietary biomedical data required to train ambitious models.
-
Opportunities to attend leading AI, biology, and scientific conferences - fully-funded.
-
Regular team meals, a stocked office, and a working environment designed for elite perfotmance.
-
Flexible time off with no strict limits.
