Overview
The role: Full Stack Software Developer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining backend services for our Angular based frontend. The product you will be supporting is developed with a .NET backend, and relies heavily on integrations with MS Dynamics 365. As part of this role, you will be working with the lead developer to refactor much of the solution into a cloud native application. You’ll participate in the problem definition and solution process with a diverse group of developers, designers and business owners from around the world.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-native backend services using .NET 8/9
- Develop and maintain React-based micro front-ends, integrating with shared platform services
- Implement and consume RESTful APIs (internal and external), following versioning and security best practices
- Contribute to a microservices architecture, including service decomposition and domain ownership
- Build asynchronous, event-driven workflows using message-based integration (e.g., MassTransit, SQS / Azure Service Bus)
- Work with NoSQL and cloud-native data stores (e.g., MongoDB-style databases)
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to TOGAF-aligned documentation, ADRs, and service designs
- Write high-quality, testable code with meaningful unit and integration tests
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using GitLab
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., IDE-integrated copilots, design assistants, or similar) in a professional engineering workflow
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and ensure correctness, security, maintainability, and architectural alignment

The Fragomen Global Development Lab (GDL) is an innovation group within Fragomen focused on developing and supporting technology solutions targeting business travel, mobility, and cross border employment compliance.
What we are looking for
Essential criteria:
- Experience in developing in a remote agile team
- Experience with .NET REST API development, including experience with OData
- Ability to develop using FAST principles and with robust unit testing
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, plugin development and XRM Toolbox
Some overtime will be required, and the candidate must be available to work off hours on evenings and weekends as needed.
