Immigration Lawyer/Caseworker

As an Immigration Advisor at Immigration Advice Service, you will be responsible for providing expert immigration and asylum advice in line with IAA and Legal Quality Assurance standards and ensure the highest standards of client care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide advice in all areas of UK immigration law

Ensure all contact with the client and any other action taken in respect of cases is recorded on attendance notes and regularly updated on the database.

Interview and advise clients regarding Immigration/Asylum law, procedure and practice.

Liaise with Immigration Authorities, other agencies and groups as required.

Meet specified targets as set by Supervisor

Stay current with immigration law developments and attend training

Work to meet personal and team targets

Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Management.

What we\’re looking for

Fully accredited at IAA Level 1, 2 or 3

LLB or Law related degree or diploma

At least 1 year of experience in immigration and asylum legal advice & representation.

Strong communication, organisational and client care skills.

Confident liaising with clients, authorities and stakeholders.
