We’re partnering with a well-established publishing organisation undergoing a major digital and AI-led transformation. With a strong global presence, they’re investing heavily in modern engineering and intelligent systems to reshape how content is created, discovered and delivered.
They’re now looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong Node.js and AI integration experience to join on an initial 6-month FTC. You’ll play a key role in building scalable backend services and AI-powered platforms, working on large-scale systems that power content and data experiences. This is a hands-on engineering role with exposure to cutting-edge AI workflows and distributed systems.
- Contribute to scalable, distributed systems and cloud architecture (AWS)
- Work with structured and unstructured data across varied storage solutions
- Build and integrate RAG pipelines and AI-driven workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-quality systems
Experience required:
- Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript in production
- Experience building scalable systems in AWS (or similar cloud platforms)
- Solid understanding of data storage (MySQL, document stores, blob storage)
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM integrations
- Experience building AI-driven workflows and pipelines
