Use your analytical skills to improve lives, not just systems. We’re working with a purpose-driven care organisation that supports thousands of people across the UK every day. Their services enable individuals with complex needs to live more independent, fulfilling lives through personalised care and support.
As part of a growing digital transformation programme, they’re investing heavily in modernising processes, systems and technology across the organisation. They’re now looking for a Solutions Analyst to help bridge the gap between operational needs and technical delivery - ensuring that transformation initiatives translate into practical, effective solutions that improve outcomes for both colleagues and the people they support.
Why this role matters
Technology and process improvement sit at the centre of the organisation’s next phase of growth. As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping how change is identified, designed and delivered across the business. You’ll work closely with operational teams, leadership and digital specialists to understand complex challenges, map existing processes and recommend smarter, more efficient ways of working. Your work will directly influence how services operate, helping ensure technology and transformation initiatives genuinely support frontline teams and the people they care for. This isn’t just about documenting requirements - it’s about driving meaningful change across a complex, multi-site organisation.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements through workshops, interviews and research
- Mapping current processes and identifying opportunities for optimisation and improvement
- Translating operational needs into clear, actionable technical requirements
- Developing documentation including process models, requirements catalogues and data models
- Managing requirements through the full lifecycle, ensuring traceability and alignment to delivery
- Building business cases for change initiatives and recommending optimal solutions
- Working closely with project managers and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation
- Engaging with stakeholders at all levels to align business needs with technical solutions
- Supporting governance processes and maintaining clear documentation of change activity
- Benchmarking “as-is” processes and helping measure the impact and benefits of transformation initiatives.
You’ll work closely with the Head of PMO, project managers and digital transformation teams, acting as the key link between operational stakeholders and technical delivery.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience as a Solutions Analyst or Business Analyst within complex organisations
- Can confidently bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery
- Has strong experience gathering and managing requirements across full project lifecycles
- Is skilled in process mapping and modelling (Visio, UML, BPMN)
- Understands project and programme delivery methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile or MSP
- Is comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
- Has strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Can clearly present insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
Desirable experience
- Experience working within healthcare or social care environments
- Exposure to digital transformation or large-scale change programmes
- Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Jira, MS Project or Smartsheets
- Business Analysis or Project Management certifications (BCS, ISEB, PRINCE2, Agile)
