Immersum are working with a medical-grade AI HealthTech company transforming clinical workflows across the UK. Their platform helps clinicians eliminate documentation burden through clinically safe and reliable AI systems already used in over 1 million consultations. They’re hiring AI focused Full Stack Product Engineers to help build production grade AI systems used in high-stakes healthcare environments.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and ship full-stack product features integrating deeply with LLMs in production
  • Design systems resilient to hallucinations, output instability, and distribution shift
  • Work closely with AI research teams to implement new architectures and model enhancements
  • Contribute to AI output validation approaches, including multilingual clinical documentation quality
  • Help maintain engineering quality, reliability, and safety standards in a regulated environment
  • Work closely with product and design teams to deliver clinician-facing tools at scale

Tech stack: React · TypeScript · Node.js/NestJS · Python/FastAPI · GCP · Kubernetes · Terraform · PostgreSQL · Redis · Pub/Sub · LLMs · AI Systems

Looking for:

  • Strong full-stack engineering background with React + TypeScript
  • Production experience building systems around LLMs - beyond simple API integration
  • Deep understanding of failure modes in probabilistic systems
  • Experience with output validation, fallback strategies, confidence thresholds, and human-in-the-loop workflows
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG, fine tuning, or LLM evaluation frameworks
  • Product minded engineers who enjoy ownership and shipping

Nice to have:

  • Experience in clinical AI or other high-stakes AI domains
  • Exposure to AI safety concepts in production
  • Experience with internal AI evaluation or red-teaming exercises
  • Familiarity with FHIR/HL7 integrations or event-driven architectures
