Immersum is partnering with a leading insurance technology business to hire a Cloud Security Analyst to join their growing security team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in AWS and cloud security who is looking to take the next step in their career, working across cloud infrastructure, compliance, vulnerability management, and incident response.

The Role:

  • Help design and implement secure AWS cloud environments
  • Monitor and respond to security events using AWS security tooling
  • Support IAM, RBAC, MFA, and access management across the business
  • Carry out vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities
  • Assist with security audits and compliance, including ISO27001
  • Work alongside Engineering, Platform, Infrastructure, and Support teams to embed security best practices
  • Support incident response and help investigate security events

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with AWS cloud environments
  • Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
  • Exposure to IAM, networking, and security controls
  • Knowledge of AWS services including CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS Config, EC2, S3, and VPC
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO27001, SOC 2, or CIS Benchmarks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and the ability to work across technical teams
  • Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology or related
  • AWS certifications are desirable but not essential
