Build and scale a best in class platform alongside a team of the brightest minds in cybersecurity! At Immersive, we’re uniquely positioned to future-proof organizations against any cyber challenge. If that excites you, read on!

Immersive helps prove and improve your cyber resilience, by simulating real-world threats, testing your skills, and measuring performance. We put your readiness to the ultimate test. From sharpening technical capabilities to making high-pressure decisions, our platform allows you to assess every angle, pinpoint areas for growth, and prove your ability to tackle evolving threats with unwavering confidence.

Immersive was founded in 2017, from a cargo container in Bristol, UK. We’ve grown to over 300 employees globally, announced funding of more than £150 million and been voted a Best place to work on multiple occasions!

We encourage people of all different backgrounds and identities to apply. We are committed to maintaining an inclusive, supportive place for you to be you and do your very best work.

Immersive is hiring! We're looking for an experienced copyeditor to join Immersive's Presentation Quality Assurance (PQA) Team within the Product organization. This is a permanent role, which can be based out of our Bristol Hub, Hybrid, or Remote (UK).

The role spans both gated and highly visible content across Immersive. You'll edit technical cybersecurity content in accordance with our internal style guide, while also partnering with the Cyber, Product, Marketing, and GTM teams to refine platform copy, website content, and marketing materials. Your work will touch various cybersecurity domains and topics catered to different user journeys – from beginner to CISO.

As Immersive meets customer needs in the era of AI, we're raising both the pace and quality of what we deliver. This role combines traditional copyediting excellence with AI-assisted workflows. You'll use AI tools – particularly Claude and Gemini – to streamline your editing work and drive improvements across the organization. That means identifying process bottlenecks, surfacing content quality patterns, and helping teams understand why content issues are happening in the first place. You'll make content quality improvements that scale.

Accessibility is at the heart of the Quality Team, so part of our editing process involves formatting consistency and checking that the content meets our accessibility requirements.

You should apply if (we know it’s tough, but please try to avoid the confidence gap. You don’t have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role):

  • You're an experienced editor comfortable wrestling with complex topics and rewriting them for clarity.
  • You've got at least two years of copyediting, proofreading, line editing, or subediting experience. If that experience is in technology or cybersecurity, that's a bonus.

We're looking for someone who's already proficient with – or actively exploring – AI tools like Claude and Gemini for copyediting and content work. Ideally, you'll have:

  • Advanced experience using AI to tackle copyediting and content quality challenges.
  • Comfort analyzing content patterns with AI, identifying what's causing quality issues, and recommending how teams can improve their processes.
  • Skill at prompting AI effectively to generate edits, check style consistency, or produce rewrite alternatives.
  • The ability to think systematically about where AI can improve both your workflow and how Immersive produces content across the organization.

What else we're looking for:

  • You're a fast learner who can pick up our style guide and house tone of voice right away.
  • You adapt when business priorities shift, and you're comfortable juggling competing demands.
  • You work well independently and you're a strong communicator.
  • Knowledge of core cybersecurity concepts and tooling is a plus, but not required.

Immersive’s growth has been fuelled by our values that underpin everything we do, here's how they relate to this role:

  • Driven - We push the boundaries of innovation, acting swiftly to achieve ambitious outcomes.
  • Inclusive - Our strength lies in diversity, fostering a culture where every individual contributes to our collective strength.
  • Customer Centric - We seek to develop deep relationships with our customers to help them achieve their business outcomes.
  • One Team - We are a talented global team working together to achieve our vision.

We encourage people of all different backgrounds and identities to apply. We are committed to maintaining an inclusive, supportive place for you to be you and do your very best work. Excited by the above? We’re ready to receive your application!

As well as an inclusive, supportive place for you to be you, we offer an extensive range of benefits so you can do your very best work:

  • Time off, flexible and remote working so you can work when is best for you, includes 25 days annual leave + 2 volunteering days and your birthday off.
  • The longer you are with Immersive, the more holiday days you get, up to a maximum of 30 days after five years of service.
  • Look after your family and yourself with enhanced parental leave, mindfulness groups, critical illness cover, 7% matched pension, private healthcare plan and more.
  • Career and learning development through the platform, a dedicated professional development fund and our ‘Learn Anything’ fund - which enables you to learn anything that’s not work!
  • Recognition & Rewards for doing great work and living our values and behaviours.
  • Informal or formal flexible working options, e.g. flexible start and finish times, reduced hours.
  • We have a vibrant team culture with team events throughout the year.

When you do visit the UK hub, getting there is easy: we’re based in the centre of Bristol, just a 10 minute walk from the train station. We also offer railcard loan and cycle scheme to buy a new bike.

Cyber threats wait for no one and neither should you. Apply now!
