Immersive is hiring! Could you be our next FP&A Analyst? Our Finance team seeks a motivated, data-driven FP&A Analyst to join our UK team. We’re looking for someone with a builder mindset who enjoys creating, improving, and scaling ways of working. You’ll have full ownership and accountability for your area, with real scope to shape the role and make it your own.
You’ll thrive in a small team with a broad remit, where there is plenty of opportunity to learn, develop, and grow alongside the business. As our FP&A Analyst you will guide & manage the financial performance of the business by providing analysis and insight to stakeholders, explaining variances and key insights in an easy-to-understand way using your excellent communication skills.
Working across varying teams in the organisation, you will leverage exceptionally strong financial modelling skills (Excel / Google Sheets / FP&A systems) across a variety of different systems to ensure the business sets realistic plans and maintains accurate rolling forecasts. You’ll be a key business partner and together with the rest of the FP&A team build relationships across the company and use your analytical skills and initiative to help to improve Immersive as we grow.
Beyond traditional forecasting, you will drive advanced data practices by utilising SQL capabilities, developing complex data models, and exploring AI/LLM use cases to automate and enhance financial analysis, so relevant experience here would be desirable - but not essential. This is a hybrid working opportunity, which requires 1 day a week in our Bristol HQ.
Your main responsibilities:
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variance.
- Analyse complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
- Produce regular ARR, cost and metric reports, highlighting variances, trends and concerns and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Particular focus on GTM performance and metrics.
- Own discrete areas of planning and analysis, and the relevant stakeholder relationships.
- Assisting with the annual budget process.
- Maintain workforce costs, forecasts and analysis.
- Helping to document and improve FP&A processes.
Sounds good? We’d love to hear from you if you have proven experience in the following areas:
- CIMA fully qualified accountant. ACA / ACCA with Post qualification FP&A with Commercial Finance would also be considered.
- Excellent communication skills to partner and build relationships with colleagues outside of finance.
- You’re a self-starter who is comfortable working with autonomy, takes initiative, and spots opportunities to add value.
- You bring a hands-on approach, with a willingness to get stuck in and support across a broad range of priorities when needed.
- Budgeting and forecasting skills and knowledge of variance analysis.
- You possess strong attention to detail, have a logical approach and the ability to multitask.
- You thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Hold strong Excel skills & Financial Modelling capabilities.
Desirable:
- Curious nature to explore AI/LLM use cases to enhance financial analysis.
- SQL capabilities & familiarity with modern data stack tools e.g. Snowflake and dbt.
