The opportunity: We’re looking for a Sales Engineering Manager to lead a highly talented team of Sales Engineers focusing on delivering a high-quality experience throughout the technical sales cycle to prospects and customers. You’ll promote and instill best practices, technical acumen, and value-based selling in Sales Engineering to support a seamless customer journey and goal achievement.
What You'll Do:
- Lead a Sales Engineering team by providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance to instill company values, technical acumen, best practices, and strong work ethic in Sales Engineers.
- Drive a high performance team to deliver against assigned sales goals while prioritising a high-quality experience for customers and colleagues.
- Function as a trusted advisor by engaging with prospects and customers during the full customer journey to support the team, region, and customers’ success.
- Hire, enable, and create development plans for Sales Engineers to ensure team members successfully onboard, execute, and progress in professional growth.
- Embrace and promote collaborative, high-energy, and “winning” culture.
- Prepare and deliver analysis of business trends and SE metrics, draw conclusions based on data, and make strategic directional recommendations.
- Work closely in collaboration with business areas to support initiatives aligned with Immersive Labs’ OKRs to demonstrate successful key results.
Who You Are:
- 5 - 10 years work experience in sales engineering, information technology, or cyber security.
- Experience managing and leading a quota carrying team.
- Expertise in IT fundamentals (computer hardware/software, databases, networking, security, and software development).
- Authoritative knowledge of information security concepts, domains, compliances, and standards.
- Hands-on experience with Windows & Linux operating systems, security tools (IDS, firewalls, anti-malware, SIEM), public cloud environments, etc.
- Experience leading technical presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences across all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Proven ability to inspire and grow teams to their full potential particularly in sales environments.
