What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking a passionate, experienced sales driven venue manager who moves fast, thinks big, and owns their results. You thrive in hospitality, retail, or entertainment environments. You’re inspired by audience engagement, team leadership, and growing a business from the ground up, all with an eye on guest satisfaction and profitability!

Job Purpose: You will serve as the business leader and brand ambassador at our Southbank venue. You will oversee venue operations, guest service excellence, event management, team growth, and financial performance exercising cost control. You’ll partner with your Area Manager, Central Office, and cross functional teams (Marketing, HR, Tech) to drive growth, monitor KPIs, and deliver a top tier experience every time!

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead a high performing team of 4–6 staff and foster a culture of customer service excellence, operational consistency, and engagement.
  • Manage daily on site venue operations, customer service, and retail experiences in a fast paced environment.
  • Drive local marketing initiatives and event planning (school breaks, holidays, community events) to boost bookings and foot traffic.
  • Own budget management, payroll, labour scheduling, POS operations, and profit & loss oversight and controlling the controllables.
  • Monitor and act on key performance indicators including revenue growth, guest satisfaction ratings, and internal reviews.
  • Cover solo shifts to support lean labour strategies and ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards, venue maintenance policies, and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Hire, onboard, and develop talent to support performance and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, HR, and Tech to align operations with brand strategy and technology driven service improvements.
  • Build relationships in the local community to enhance visibility and brand reputation.

What We Need From You:

Required Experience: Minimum 2 years as a managerial leader or venue leader, or equivalent leadership role in hospitality, retail, or location based entertainment. Proven track record of driving profitability, customer service, and guest satisfaction. Experience managing controllables, staffing schedules, labour costs, and POS systems. Strong understanding of safety protocols and venue operations.

Preferred Experience: Experience in food & beverage or sales heavy environments. Tech savvy with familiarity using Excel, CRM, POS, and scheduling software. Skilled in local marketing tools like social media campaigns, community outreach, and promotional events.

Compensation:

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per year. Bonus: Up to 5% annual performance based incentive.
