Immersive is hiring a dedicated Cyber Security Engineer focused on defensive content for our cyber resilience platform.
Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of blue teaming engagements and techniques to plan, write, and improve defensive security labs, challenges, and online learning content.
- Produce multi-format content using various teaching methods—practical exercises, questions, and gamification.
- Test Blue Team labs and ranges to ensure they function as expected.
- Research the latest crisis events, compile this research, and deliver a catalogue of crisis simulation content.
- Translate technical research into concise, understandable content for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Collaborate with the Product team on new projects, product innovations, and deployment strategies.
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in the defensive security space, especially Incident Response or tabletop exercises.
- In‑depth knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and its application for enterprise threat mitigation.
- Strong technical understanding of networking, computing, and cybersecurity concepts.
- Ability to use examples and analogies to simplify complex subjects for a wide audience.
