About The Role
Reporting to the SEO Lead, and working closely with the AD lead, the SEO and Audience Development Analyst is responsible for enhancing the visibility and performance of web content, driving audience engagement, and supporting strategic growth through effective SEO and content strategies. This role combines foundational technical SEO, content development, and audience insights to maximise the reach and effectiveness of our brands MFMs focus.
As an SEO Analyst you will:
- Technical SEO
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits.
- Monitor and report on SEO performance on a weekly and monthly basis, identifying trends and actionable insights.
- Identify and implement internal linking opportunities within existing and new content.
- Compile monthly SEO performance reports, presenting key data and recommendations with follow-up actions to stakeholders.
- Write SEO content briefs for the made for mums editorial teams.
- Monitor and report on SEO performance on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Present monthly data performance summaries to key stakeholders.
- Conduct keyword research to optimise on-page content and drive organic growth.
- Conduct content audits to identify what content doesn’t perform well for the brand, as well as opportunities for improvement of content across breadth and depth of site content.
- Analyse market competitors to explore new content opportunities for organic growth.
- Support Audience Development Managers with campaign execution and day-to-day tasks.
- Investigate and recommend opportunities for new content verticals to diversify audience touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Stay informed of algorithm updates and industry news to ensure strategies remain competitive and effective.
- Share SEO news and trends with editorial team, the wider teams, and those across the business.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions with Made for Mums.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel for data management and reporting.
- Utilise industry-standard tools, including Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
- Collaborate with managers to develop and lead masterclasses on SEO and audience development for wider business.
- Create and deliver training sessions for editorial teams with manager support, ensuring knowledge transfer and capability building across teams.
Requirements
- 1-3+ years of hands-on SEO experience.
- In-house or agency experience is welcomed.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles (on-page, off-page, technical SEO).
- Proficiency in keyword research and analysis.
- Ability to conduct competitor analysis.
- Familiarity with search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
- SEO tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog.
- Web analytics: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics.
- CMS platforms: WordPress, Shopify, etc.
- Data tools: Excel, Google Sheets, Looker Studio.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
