About the role

As a Podcast Production & Content Assistant you will be supporting the production, delivery and promotion of podcasts across the Good Food podcast portfolio. Working closely with producers, hosts and the social team, the Podcast Production & Content Assistant will help ensure episodes are well‑researched, smoothly produced, accurately delivered and effectively promoted across audio, social and video platforms.

Production support

  • Assist with scheduling recordings and coordinating guest availability
  • Prepare and distribute call sheets, running orders and guest briefing notes
  • Track episode timelines, deadlines and production tasks
  • Provide admin and guest support on recording days, working alongside the wider production team
  • Assist with budgeting, invoicing and general admin tasks

Research & editorial support

  • Carry out background research on guests, themes and episode topics
  • Source clips, quotes and reference material
  • Contribute ideas for episodes, angles and guest suggestions
  • Support scripting and editorial development as required
  • Write episode descriptions and upload metadata
  • Help manage inboxes for guest coordination and listener messages

Post‑production coordination

  • Assist with logging audio, organising files and preparing transcripts
  • Liaise with editors to help ensure timely delivery of episode cuts
  • Support quality‑checking of final edits for accuracy and consistency

Social media & promotion

  • Identify key moments, quotes and clips from episodes
  • Assist with writing captions, headlines and promotional copy
  • Schedule content for Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
  • Support community engagement across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok
  • Record and edit behind‑the‑scenes content
  • Liaise with guest teams to coordinate social collaborations and posting dates
  • Organise and maintain photo and video assets
  • Support engagement with listeners on Spotify using platform chat tools
