About the role
The Publishing and Agency landscape is going through great transition and it’s an imperative we remain agile and nimble to service our clients and maximise our revenue potential. The ability to provide cross portfolio and cross media solutions is growing by the day as does the need to offer a single point of contact for our clients.
As a Senior Agency Account Manager your core objective will be to develop and grow revenue for new, existing and lapsed advertisers across the Immediate portfolio through the effective management of an agency portfolio. The role will be varied, selling digital (both programmatic and direct display), smaller budget partnerships & advertorials/native. You will also support help drive our print revenues pitching print opportunity where appropriate. You will be an ambassador of Immediate whilst living and breathing your network of agencies. This will help us increase our agency footprint and create a deep and meaningful proposition.
As a Senior Agency Account Manager you will:
- Grow ad revenue across multiple lines through identifying and developing new commercial opportunities for advertisers
- Develop deep and strategic relationships with your agencies across all levels and departments including strat planning, planning and buying
- Co-ordinate and manage pitches for new business and existing clients
- Work closely with commercial teams to identify and establish a key advertiser strategy
- Put in place a contact, insight, and opportunity plan for each advertiser across the calendar year
- Minimum of 4 external agency meetings a week
Audience and Product Sales:
- Have a deep understanding of our audience proposition and be an example to the wider team to help them develop their audience sales strategy
- Employ a consultative approach using audience and data to position immediate as a key partner earlier in the process. Moving from activation to planning
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in consumer publishing and/or digital advertising
- Ability to cross sell multiple media channels and titles
- An understanding of the agency and publisher landscape
- A proven track record of driving revenues individually and as part of a team whilst working towards a set of pre-agreed performance targets
- Fantastic agency relationships across buying and senior members of planning teams
- Fantastic communicator and presenter with all sized groups and levels
