Immacolata House Dementia Nursing Home in Langport is surrounded by the picturesque Somerset countryside. This purpose-built home offers exceptional dementia and nursing care for up to 49 residents.

We are looking for compassionate and committed Care Assistants to join our exceptional team, supporting residents with high-quality care and contributing to a positive and inclusive environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for flexible working, covering holidays, sickness, or regular shifts.

  • Salary: £12.21 per hour
  • Contracted hours: 24 to 48 hours per week
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time contract)
  • Paid Training - earn while you learn!
  • Enhanced rates for Overtime and Bank Holidays (T&C's apply)

Your Role: You will provide person-centred care, assisting residents with daily living, personal care, and promoting independence, while ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and engaged in meaningful activities. You will work closely with the care team to build trusting relationships with residents and their families, contributing to a warm, nurturing, and positive atmosphere every day.

About You: Kind-hearted, empathetic, and committed to delivering high-quality care. Minimum of six months care experience in the UK or overseas. Reliable team player with a positive attitude. Passionate about supporting the wellbeing of older people, particularly those living with dementia.
