Part-Time Front of House Team Member – Artisan Bakery (Sundays)
Imma the Bakery is an independent artisan bakery in Oxford, specialising in naturally leavened sourdough bread, freshly baked pastries and speciality coffee.
We’re looking for a friendly, energetic and reliable person to join our small Front of House team.
We’re a busy bakery, particularly during our morning rush, and efficiency is a big part of what makes our service work. We’re looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thinks on their feet and can keep things moving while maintaining a warm and welcoming experience for our customers.
As a Front of House Team Member, you’ll play an important role in managing the flow of customers, keeping queues moving and ensuring service runs smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing friendly, attentive and efficient customer service.
- Taking orders and processing payments quickly and accurately.
- Managing busy queues and maintaining a steady flow of customers.
- Packaging bread and pastries quickly and carefully.
- Anticipating what needs doing and taking initiative during busy periods.
- Learning about our products to answer customer questions confidently and efficiently.
- Keeping displays stocked, organised and presentable throughout service.
- Preparing and serving drinks when required.
- Supporting the wider team with opening, closing and general bakery duties.
Previous hospitality or customer service experience is welcome but not essential. We’re more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, energy and willingness to learn.
This is a part-time position, primarily covering Sundays from 7am–2pm, with the possibility of additional shifts on Fridays and Saturdays.
