Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Development Booker to manage and develop our New Face board. This role requires a keen eye for talent, strong industry relationships, and the ability to strategize career growth for emerging models. The Development Booker will be responsible for scouting, developing, and securing opportunities for new faces while ensuring they are well-prepared for the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Management & Development: Oversee the progress of new face models; organize meetings, assess and maintain model portfolios, and collect materials for model books.
- Growth & Strategy: Contribute to the expansion of the New Face board in alignment with the agency's vision.
- Test Shoots: Manage all new face testing (both paid and collaborative) for in-town and out-of-town models.
- Editorial Bookings: Source and secure editorial opportunities for new faces on both national and international levels. Build and maintain strong relationships with casting directors and magazine editors.
- Scouting & Onboarding: Meet with applicants and scouted models, oversee applications, handle contracts, and manage the onboarding process.
- Workshops & Development Programs: Organize and host new face workshops to enhance their industry knowledge and skills.
- Networking & Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture relationships with photographers, stylists, makeup artists, and other industry professionals. Expand the agency’s photographer database on both national and international levels.
- Agency Partnerships & Placements: Connect with model agencies worldwide to scout unseen signed talent and facilitate placements.
- Scouting: Actively scout for new talent to ensure a strong pipeline of promising models.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in model booking, talent development, or a similar role within a modelling or talent agency.
- Strong understanding of the fashion and modelling industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive, creative, and able to identify opportunities for new talent.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of industry-standard booking and portfolio management tools is a plus.
