Role Overview
Driving breakthrough engineering as part of a global company using world class innovation to design next generation high voltage power supplies. Your contribution to our team will deliver huge value to customers in demanding markets including life science, mass spectrometry and Scanning Electron Microscopes.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of high voltage (1kV and above) power supply concepts and designs to meet customer requirements.
- Working with a cross functional team to release high quality products into production.
- Modification and enhancement of existing power supply designs to meet customer requirements.
- Product safety assessments.
- Design and build of associated test equipment.
- Use CAD tools and prototype modelling to design Power Supply circuits.
- Use engineering tools to assemble, test and validate Power supply circuits.
Critical Competencies for Success
- Educated to degree level and experienced Electronics Design Engineer.
- Self‑motivated Team Player.
- Good communication skills – written and verbal.
- Analogue Electronics Design.
- Able to work in a design environment.
- Power Supply PSU Design and/or control loop theory desirable but not essential.
