School Finance Advisor

Purpose of the role: We’re looking for innovative and dynamic individuals with a working knowledge of schools financial management system, for example SIMS FMS, ACCESS etc with a clear understanding of school financial management processes, an enthusiasm and passion to enable schools to understand their school’s budget, meet statutory requirements and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction. Role responsibilities: * Maintenance, control & monitoring of computer finance accounts & other related records. * Plan, prepare & evaluate annual school budgets in accordance with the school’s development plan. * Responsible for the preparation of monthly detailed and complex financial reports & analysing data. * Ability to work with and support a number of different school based staff and to be an integrated member of the School Financial Advisor Team. Experience required: * The candidates must have experience within finance and if they have accountancy qualification that would be considered. * The candidate will be requested to visit schools and expense can be claimed from office base to the location. * Systems used are SIMS (FMS). * Full clean driving licence and access to a car to visit schools onsite. Hours & Pay: * Working hours are flexible especially around school term. * Monday – Friday * Potentially hybrid working
