IMH Recruitment are seeking experienced Vehicle Technicians to join our client's Fleet Services in Leeds, LS9. You’ll be responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, and maintaining the fleet of commercial, heavy goods, and specialist vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with statutory regulations and policies.

Duties:

  • Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of vehicles and specialist equipment.
  • Carry out inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with standards.
  • Use specialist tools and equipment correctly and safely.
  • Complete all job-related paperwork and system entries accurately.
  • Report additional defects or preventive maintenance needs as required.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, including when working on site.
  • Meet agreed repair and service times.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds 4101 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in servicing and repairing commercial vehicles.
  • Minimum of 3 years continuous experience.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a commercial repair/service environment.
  • Strong manual skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly.
  • Basic numeracy for measurements and tool settings.

Hours & Pay:

  • Monday – Thursday 7:15am to 3:45pm.
  • Fridays: 7:15am to 12:15pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break).
  • £42,597 P/An.
  • Weekly pay whilst through the agency!
