IMH Recruitment are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide high-quality, professional HR advice and support within a public sector environment for our client in their Business Improvement Team in Leicester.
One full time position at 37 hours per week and one part time position we can be flexible with which days, but they would need to be full days for 2 and meet the business need hours during the day which is across 8.30-17.00.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR advice on employee relations, policy, and employment legislation
- Support and influence managers on performance management and people matters
- Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures
- Lead on HR projects, strategy development, and reporting
- Build strong relationships with managers, stakeholders, and trade unions
- Promote equality, inclusion, and best practice
Requirements
- Significant experience as a generalist HR Advisor, including employee relations
- Experience working within a Local Authority or public sector environment
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
- Excellent communication, influencing, and organisational skills
- HR qualification (or equivalent experience)
Hours & Pay:
- Full time position: Would be working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday: 8.30am-17.00pm.
- Part time position: Would be part time hours are 2.5 days per week (we can be flexible with which days, but they would need to be full days for 2 and meet the business need hours during the day which is across 8.30-17.00).
- £20.29 – £21.64 per hour.
- Hybrid working option for the right candidate.
- Office-based initially to support induction.
