IMH Recruitment are currently looking for an Environmental Service Assistant based in Sheffield.
Purpose of the role: To respond to environmental problems, including illegally dumped commercial and household garbage, filthy and verminous premises, and animal carcasses, and undertake clearance and cleaning as required.
Responsibilities:
- To complete house clearances.
- Assist other officers in drainage investigations.
- To respond to environmental problems, including illegally dumped commercial and household garbage, and animal carcasses, and undertake clearance as directed.
- To undertake collection, loading and disposal of condemned foodstuffs as directed.
- To give assistance and advice to staff in the Animal Control Team and other teams in Environmental Protection Service.
- To assist in other environmental protection functions as necessary.
- To supervise staff and trainees, carry out appraisals and evidence proper delivery of development programmes.
- To manage and negotiate contracts relating to Environmental Protection Service.
Hours & Pay:
- Monday - Friday
- 8am - 4pm
- Β£13.69
- Weekly pay
