Driver Labourer

IMH Recruitment are looking for a reliable Driver Labourer to work on behalf of our client based in Barnsley to carry out general and grounds maintenance duties across the borough. Responsibilities * Clear fly tipping * Cutting grass * Driving vehicle with or without trailers, ride-ons and the use of machines and mechanical, powered or manually operated pedestrian or hand held equipment carrying out daily checks as required reporting any faults to Management. * To be responsible for the careful day to day use, maintenance and minor repairs of machinery and equipment and the security of vehicles. * To be responsible for locking and unlocking council buildings and other premises. * Monitor the stock levels of fuel stores in remote Depots and liaise with relevant teams. * To be customer focussed and deal with exchanges of information in a polite, courteous and positive manner. Requirements: * To hold a valid UK driving licence. * Grounds Maintenance experience * Ability to operate tools and machinery safely * Must be able to complete physical work. * Be flexible to the post and undertake any travel requirements. Hours and Pay: * Mon – Thu: 6:30am – 2:30pm & Friday: 6:30am – 2:00pm. * 37 Hours per week. * £13.26 Per hour. * Please only apply if you have a full UK Driving Licence as this is essential for this role.
