IMH Recruitment are looking for a reliable driver for our client based in Rotherham. Job Overview: To drive a 26 tonne refuse vehicle. Key Duties & Responsibilities: * Operate, maintain and secure equipment, including service delivery vehicles such as lorry or similar, tools and heavy plant * Ensure the security of vehicles, buildings and resources within own control, including carrying out vehicle checks * Respond to customer enquiries and complaints, ensuring wherever possible a satisfactory outcome * Report accident or damage to property, street defects, and assist on enviro-crime enforcement operations * Supervise other operatives, trainees, seasonal employees or volunteers assisting * Ensure the provision of monitoring or management information, including time sheets, near miss reports, safety observation systems and vehicle checks * Ensure that the manager is made aware of any variations in schedules of work or work specifications such that they would affect service delivery * Help to deliver and coordinate campaigns, events and initiatives Requirements: * Category C Licence with Driver CPC * DBS (Preferred) * Previous Experience in a driving role Hours & Pay: * Monday – Thursday, 7am – 3pm. * £13.26 – £14.86 Per hour * Please note this role is for holiday cover until April 2025 Apply with your CV today!
