The predicted salary is between 14 - 16 £ per hour.

IMH Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Business Support Officer / Administrator to work with our client based in Bolton, BL1. This role will provide high-quality business and administrative support to the Head of Capital Projects and the wider Capital Projects team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating diaries, meetings, and managing competing priorities
  • Managing shared inboxes, correspondence, and service communications
  • Maintaining accurate project, financial, and administrative records
  • Supporting procurement processes and contract administration
  • Drafting notes, reports, and routine correspondence
  • Supporting reporting, governance, and continuous improvement activity
  • Liaising with colleagues, clients, contractors, and stakeholders

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent ICT skills, including Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of confidentiality, data protection, and governance
  • Ability to manage workload under supervision and meet deadlines
  • Experience working within a Council or public sector environment is required

Desirable:

  • Minimum HNC in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related subject (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience providing business or administrative support in a busy office

Hours & Pay:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • £14.91 per hour
  • Weekly pay whilst through the agency!
