IMH Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Business Support Officer / Administrator to work with our client based in Bolton, BL1.
This role will provide high-quality business and administrative support to the Head of Capital Projects and the wider Capital Projects team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating diaries, meetings, and managing competing priorities
- Managing shared inboxes, correspondence, and service communications
- Maintaining accurate project, financial, and administrative records
- Supporting procurement processes and contract administration
- Drafting notes, reports, and routine correspondence
- Supporting reporting, governance, and continuous improvement activity
- Liaising with colleagues, clients, contractors, and stakeholders
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent ICT skills, including Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of confidentiality, data protection, and governance
- Ability to manage workload under supervision and meet deadlines
- Experience working within a Council or public sector environment is required
Desirable:
- Minimum HNC in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related subject (or equivalent experience)
- Experience providing business or administrative support in a busy office
Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
- £14.91 per hour
- Weekly pay whilst through the agency!
