IMG is looking to grow its pool of TOC Multi-Skilled Operators to support a wide range of live broadcast projects as part of our front-line technical operations. These projects span from one-off events to large-scale, concurrent productions, all based within our dynamic IMG hub.
The role requires experience across some or all of the following: Riedel SimplyLive systems, large-scale remote productions, remote talkback and commentary, networking, all-in-one systems, NDI streaming, tally systems, and editing.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate across multiple broadcast disciplines with technical knowledge in areas including audio, vision control, graphics, edits cameras, routing, and recording/replay systems.
- Undertake transmission coordination duties, including establishing and checking communications.
- Configure voice-over (V/O) and interview audio mixing to broadcast standard.
- Conduct pre-transmission checks and post-transmission shutdown procedures.
- Communicate effectively with production teams and technical staff to ensure smooth delivery of broadcasts.
- Conduct on site stadium visits at various locations across England and Wales as needed.
- Attend production and planning meetings with production teams and clients when required.
- Maintain accurate operational logs and reports for all recordings and transmissions.
- Support engineering teams with maintenance and upkeep of TOC facilities.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies, including maintaining clear fire lanes and adhering to risk assessments.
- Provide operational support across other IMG studio facilities if required.
- Work collaboratively as part of a production crew in various operational roles.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential: Strong working knowledge of broadcast operations including audio, cameras, talkback, tally and vision systems.
Desirable (not essential): Understanding of connectivity and MCR (Master Control Room) practices. Experience working with a wide range of clients and production teams. Knowledge of studio health and safety requirements. Experience with commentary and voice-over setups. Good IT literacy. Experience with live replay systems and associated workflows. Experience of on site Stadium productions.
Working Conditions
This is an opportunity to join our freelance pool. The role will be based at our facility in Stockley Park, Uxbridge. The working hours will include weekend working during peak seasons (with day, late and overnight shifts available) and stadium visits during off-season periods.
