At IMG, our Studios business use content and technology to power the world\’s passion for sport, working with global clients including The Premier League, The R&A, DP World Tour, Euroleague Basketball and Major League Soccer. We\’ve built Europe\’s best-connected broadcast centre at Stockley Park, London, distributing 35,000 hours of content globally and creating some of the world\’s best sporting coverage. Our facilities include four broadcast studios, fifty edit suites and a multitude of radio, podcast, dubbing and VFX facilities, with specialisms in remote production and carbon reduction thanks to our Green to Screen initiative. Whether it\’s live coverage, archive, highlights, social media, branded content or feature films, we give the audience a front row seat to the best sport in the world.

What You’ll Do:

We are looking for an experienced and well-established Producer, who will be responsible for the development, production, and timely delivery of a variety of shortform content for The Open, AIG Women’s Open and R&A’s web and social channels.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • This is a 12 month fixed term position based in St Andrews, Scotland.
  • Flexible hours and occasional weekend work will be required.
  • You may be required to travel internationally to shoots.
  • You will be required for bi-monthly check ins with the wider content team in our Stockley Park office in London.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

  • Ownership of the creation and delivery of content agreed upon by the Content Hub Account Lead and Digital Account Director as part of the R&A’s 2025 content plan.
  • Act as a brand custodian, understanding the R&A objectives and ensuring that the content produced reflects their tone of voice and values.
  • Lead and manage a small and dedicated team of Assistant Producers.
  • Producing shoots of varying scales, bringing a comprehensive understanding of production requirements including planning, kit, crew, and health and safety.
  • Producing engaging and effective content with a strong editorial perspective. Conducting interviews with contributors, where necessary.
  • Making recommendations on production best practices, employing knowledge of the latest production techniques and trends as well as sustainability.
  • Provide effective project management and planning, managing deliverables, timelines and liaising regularly with the client on all projects.
  • Support with content planning and execution, offering creative and editorial ideas for projects when needed.
  • Working with the IMG creative team and Content Hub Lead, to oversee and execute any other ad hoc creative requirements from the client that sit outside of the 2025 content plan.

You Will Have The Following Strengths:

  • An excellent understanding production workflows and experience creating a variety of content for social and web channels.
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing communications and content capture.
  • A comprehensive understanding of production processes related to producing non-live content and experience leading production teams.
  • Experience managing multifaceted productions which require liaising with multiple stakeholders and teams to deliver high quality content on time and within budget.
  • A keen understanding of all digital and linear platforms from OTT to broadcast to social media and understanding the types of content that resonate on each platform.
  • Production experience in a (live) sports environment
  • Strong editorial skills, including experience conducting interviews, writing engaging scripts, and developing narratives.
  • Project or client management related experience within a production or integrated agency.
  • Strong client communication skills with a proven track record of delivery on complex and impactful client projects.
  • Problem solving attitude and demonstration of initiative in high pressure environments.
  • A keen interest in golf.
  • Comprehensive production experience, delivering digital content for various platforms.
  • Good experience of operating cameras and directing single camera shoots.
  • Good understanding of post-production workflows and editing software.
  • Excellent client and talent management skills.
  • Strong editorial judgement and natural flair for creating engaging and effective content.
