Role Overview: Assist with operational aspects of the Golf Department's portfolio of golf events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support for events, including staging, infrastructure, branding, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Offer onsite logistical support during golf tournaments, focusing on customer and client experience.
  • Support event planning, infrastructure mapping, and routing.
  • Prepare reports, take minutes, and follow up with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to meet event requirements.
  • Ensure smooth logistics execution, including ticketing, catering, media, marketing, partnerships, and rules.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and contractors on specifications and scopes of work.
  • Manage procurement processes, contracts, and invoices.
  • Work with health and safety consultants to ensure compliance, including documentation and site safety practices.
  • Support daily event operations and general business needs.
  • Conduct market research and data collection as needed.
  • Assist with Media Days, community engagement, and PR activities.
  • Perform post-event evaluations to identify improvements and review contracts.
  • Represent IMG professionally at all times.
  • Perform any other relevant duties.

Challenges:

  • Working evenings and weekends, with travel to events across the EMEA region, possibly for up to 4 weeks at a time.
  • Travel for meetings and additional support outside event times.
  • Early mornings and evening hours due to golf event schedules.
