 Story10, SNTV's production and distribution division, launched in 2021.
Leveraging SNTV's global newsgathering and multi-platform distribution network, Story10 partners with leading sports federations, rights holders and brands to create, produce and distribute compelling video content that drives audience engagement and delivers commercial value.
The Senior Commercial Lead will be responsible for prospecting, pitching and negotiating Story10’s production and distribution commercial agreements, while also working with the wider SNTV commercial team to prospect and negotiate with digital media platforms to expand Story 10's distribution across the global media landscape.
Alongside securing new business, the role will be responsible for managing and developing an existing client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Sales
- Own the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, commercial negotiation and contracting.
- Prospect, pitch and negotiate commercial partnerships with sports federations, rights holders, brand partners and agencies.
- Prospect, pitch and manage sales to digital media distribution platforms to expand Story 10's reach across the global media landscape.
- Achieve agreed revenue targets and be accountable for delivering new business and commercial growth.
- Structure and deliver compelling commercial presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Extract and interpret RFPs from agencies, rights holders and prospective clients, translating requirements into clear internal briefs and commercially competitive proposals.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring accurate CRM records, forecasting and regular reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers across sports federations, governing bodies, rights holders, brands, agencies and media platforms.
- Represent Story 10 at industry events, conferences and client meetings to generate new business opportunities.
- Account Management
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of clients, building long-term commercial relationships.
- Lead renewal negotiations and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through additional services and commercial opportunities.
- Act as the primary commercial contact for assigned clients, ensuring a high standard of service throughout the partnership.
- Work closely with editorial, production and reporting teams to ensure campaigns and distribution are delivered in line with client requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales materials, client presentations and commercial proposals.
- Support the ongoing development of Story 10's commercial offering by sharing market feedback and identifying new opportunities.
- General
- Carry out any other duties that are within the scope and purpose of the role.
- Knowledge and Experience
- Proven experience in media, sports, agency or sponsorship sales.
- Experience negotiating commercial partnerships and contracts.
- Existing network across sports, media, agencies or brand marketing is advantageous.
- Strong all round sporting knowledge.

- Working Conditions
- This is a permanent position
- This role will be based at Chiswick Park, with some flexibility on remote working as appropriate
- Working hours are 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
- May be required to attend (and travel to) locations, including other IMG buildings and meetings
- Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule
- Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate
