As a Golf Events Coordinator, you’ll be front and centre in delivering some of the most exciting golf events on the calendar. From player hospitality and pro-ams to logistics, supplier coordination, and on-site operations, no two days will be the same. You’ll work closely with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to bring tournaments to life — solving problems in real time and creating exceptional experiences for players, clients, and fans.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Provide timely and efficient operational assistance on various events and projects, including event staging, client hospitality, accommodation, transportation, pro-am delivery, and stakeholder coordination.
- Draft briefing documents and provide timely reporting and minute taking, following up internally and externally as required.
- Work with suppliers and contractors to draw up specs and scopes of work.
- Consult with local authorities and respective stakeholders on traffic management plans, council applications, public notices and conclusion of fees where required.
- Initiate and process supplier contracts and invoices.
- Collate required health and safety documentation prior to the events.
- Act as a presentable and professional IMG representative at all times.
- Provide onsite event operational logistic support at golf tournaments, focusing on the customer and client experience.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to understand event requirements.
- Conduct supplier procurement and work with internal and external stakeholders to make procurement decisions.
- Coordinate with health and safety consultants to ensure suppliers and the event follow normal and safe working practices.
- Provide general event support and practical support for the day-to-day business.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, including analyses of what worked well and what can be improved in the future.
- Any other duties that are within scope of the role as required.

- Flexible and willing to work nonstandard hours, and weekends as required.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent is preferred.
- UK Driving License.
- First Aid Trained desirable.
- IOSH certification desirable.
Knowledge And Experience
- Experienced user in MS Office Software.
- An understanding of the Golf Industry is preferred but not essential.
- Experience of working in the events environment.
- Demonstrable time management and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and output focus.
Working Conditions
- This is a fixed-term position.
- Working hours are 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday.
- This role will be based at Chiswick Park, with some flexibility on remote working as appropriate.
- Regular weekend and evening work where you will be required to travel to events.
- Unsocial hours may be required, in line with the nature of golf events.
- Outside of event travel there may be a requirement to attend locations, including other IMG buildings and meetings.
- Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate.
