IMG is a leading global sports marketing agency, specializing in media rights management and sales, multi-channel content production and distribution, brand partnerships, strategic consulting, digital services, and events management. It powers growth of revenues, fanbases and IP for more than 200 federations, associations, events, and teams.

IMG is looking for an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Manager to own, optimize and lead the digital marketing of the IMG brand. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the agency’s digital ecosystem, including website management, social media channels, email marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing, executive LinkedIn strategy, and app management.

We are looking for a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in digital marketing, data-driven decision-making, and audience engagement. It is also key that you can demonstrate the ability to deliver large-scale projects while effectively managing relationships across multiple stakeholder groups in a complex matrix organisation.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Develop and deliver IMG’s digital marketing strategy, aligned to IMG’s broader marketing strategy and business-level objectives.
  • Manage and optimize the agency’s website, ensuring it remains updated, engaging, and aligned with brand objectives.
  • Oversee all social media channels, developing and executing content strategies to grow engagement and visibility.
  • Lead email marketing efforts, including database management, segmentation, automation, and performance analysis.
  • Manage the agency’s CRM system, ensuring data integrity and leveraging insights for targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a lifecycle marketing strategy to nurture leads and retain clients through personalized digital touchpoints.
  • Oversee the agency’s LinkedIn strategy, growing brand authority and engagement among industry professionals.
  • Oversee paid and organic digital delivery for IMG marketing campaigns.
  • Support the Sport 24 marketing team with core digital management, including developing digital campaign plans, overseeing delivery and analyzing performance.
  • Manage and enhance agency-developed apps, ensuring seamless user experiences and strategic updates.
  • Analyze digital performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous optimization and efficiencies.
  • Stay ahead of digital trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to keep IMG at the forefront of digital innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align digital efforts with overall agency goals.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is desirable.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within a sports marketing or agency environment.
  • Experience developing and delivering both B2B and B2C digital marketing campaigns and activity.
  • Proven experience managing websites, social media channels, email marketing, content and CRM systems.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, GEO, paid social advertising, and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience with marketing tools such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Google Analytics and Semrush.
  • Expertise in lifecycle marketing strategies and audience segmentation.
  • Experience with LinkedIn marketing, thought leadership content and B2B digital strategies.

Working Conditions

  • This is a permanent position.
  • This role will be based at Chiswick Park.
  • Working hours are 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday.
  • May be required to attend (and travel to) locations, including other IMG buildings and meetings, or to industry events and work on-site for the duration of an event, as necessary.
  • Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule, including evening and weekend work, when working to a campaign deadline or in the lead up to/during a broadcast or production.
