Responsibilities include:
- Ownership of the delivery of engineering projects.
- Lead and assist with technical workflows.
- Make key technical equipment decisions and assist with procurement.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal/external clients and suppliers.
- Create and manage project documentation including project timelines, workflow/system schematics and cable schedules.
- Liaising with external wireman regarding scheduled works.
- Line management responsibilities for Engineers.
- Leading the training and development of knowledge and experience within the Engineering team on the core equipment and software to ensure consistent quality of support.
- Develop skills to cover all aspects of the broadcast chain, keeping informed about new technical developments and operational practices.
- Using available tools to analyse systems for technical integrity and complex fault resolution.
- Working as part of a wider dynamic engineering team towards engineering excellence including developments and special projects.
- Shared monitoring and compliance with all Health and Safety across the Engineering team.
- Provide leadership cover for other Lead Engineers.
- Pro-actively participate in the recruitment, management, pastoral care, and supervision of the Engineering Team.
- Document and communicate both technical and operational issues when required.
- Work in a consultative and advisory capacity on projects related to existing business needs, growth, new business pitches and RFPs.
- Maintain and update any paperwork required as efficiently as possible.

- This is a permanent role based at our facility in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
- The core working hours are Monday-Friday office hours.
- Occasionally required to work late nights or weekends for technology migration or other works/events.
