What You’ll Do
Premier League Productions (PLP)are proud to be the production partner to the most watched football league in the world. Globally, we broadcast to serve over 100 broadcast partners and our work is available in over 900 million homes across the world. Our wide array of high-quality output includes live matches, digitalcontent, studio shows, promos and magazine programming, all delivered across multiple platforms.
We are looking for a talented Digital Assistant Producer with expertise and a passion for social media to join our team! As a Digital Assistant Producer, you will work closely with our content creation team to produce the most engaging and shareable content for the social media platforms of the Premier League and its international broadcasters.
You will be responsible for assisting in the creation of social-first content using our archive, access to Premier League players, and attendance at matches.
You will also be responsible for managing graphics design briefs and ideas, working alongside our digital team and the graphics department. Additionally, you will be responsible for filming and editing reels on location using mobile phones – telling compelling stories behind the scenes that would intrigue and interest an international audience.

This is a fixed-term contract until 29th May 2026, based in our facility in Stockley Park, Uxbridge. You may be required to work regular weekends, some evening work, and unsocial hours.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
- Daily self-editing on Premiere Pro of social videos and strands for PLP broadcasters and social teams around the world, involving creating & publishing engaging digital content in 9:16 and 16:9 formats.
- To work regular weekends and evenings where required, to be onsite at Premier League games as part of the Premier League’s Matchday social team, to film mobile phone match day content and deliver to our PLP clients within a tight deadline.
- To work in a live match day environment capturing social first & compelling digital match content, including mobile self-edit & GFX creations using Slate.
- Understand compliance guidelines for live games, clubs, broadcasters, as appropriate.
- Working with the Producers to identify stories, ideas for weekly social content that people will share across digital platforms.
- To plan, research and edit content. With some location shoots set up requirements as required.
- Under the guidance of the Producer, to help set up single & multi-camera shoots and conduct interviews with studio on-screen talent, players and matchday contributors as necessary.
- You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.
You Will Have The Following Strengths
- Experience of self-editing on Premiere Pro.
- Experience of filming and self-editing on mobile phones.
- Experience creating content for brands for social platforms.
- Knowledge of all social media platforms, best practices, and how to create engaging and compelling content for each.
We’d Love If You Also Have These: (not essential)
- Experience of creating digital content for sports federations or broadcasters.
- Experience of dealing with talent (presenters, commentators, football players, and club press officers).
